Hastings Highlands

Hastings Highlands commissioned Floating-Point to redesign their dated and ineffective website. Their new site needed to make it easier to find municipal information, but also promote the lifestyle and recreation opportunities to attract new residents and businesses.

Floating-Point designed an immersive layout with custom illustrated icons and an in-page file browser. This allowed Hastings Highlands to upload individual files to their documents page and organize them by section for easier navigation. An events page was also developed that tied into Google Calendar so that Hastings Highlands didn't have to log into the site to change their events. A "Things To Do" section was created that encapsulates all amenities and recreation spots into one page for easy browsing.

Finally, a new logo was designed to match the more modern layout the site was displaying and to present Hastings Highlands in a new fresh light.
